A look back at Disney's «Star Wars
Le Regard Libre Nº 59 - Danilo Heyer
Seven years ago, George Lucas announced that Star Wars had been sold for four billion dollars to the Disney Empire. The public, remembering the mistreatment George Lucas had since dared to inflict on his invention (especially the various alterations made to the original trilogy, the Ewoks and Jar Jar Binks), naturally welcomed this transaction as the promise of a better day. The time has come to review this post-logic, to unearth the principles that led to its success.
