The Lausanne train station is expanding, and to do so, it needs more space. But how do you find more space when you're in the heart of a saturated city, where every inch of space is already being used? The answer is the same as when you're in charge of organizing the next Olympic Games: evict the tenants and destroy their living space! Some had only been there a few months, others for almost a lifetime. All welcomed us warmly at number 26 rue du Simplon, where the «Traces de passages» exhibition was taking place.

I have the feeling that people around me laugh especially when there's a reference to local, Swiss culture. A joke about Mont-sur-Rolle and the audience roars, a bit of yodelling and they go into a trance!

The time has come to further professionalize this family of professions and activities, paradoxically relying on non-professionals as much as professionals. Whether you're an amateur or have a diploma, it doesn't matter. Instead, let us focus on the values of intellectual honesty, originality, determination, intellectual curiosity and human sensitivity.
On Wednesday May 22, Jonas Follonier, editor-in-chief of this magazine, shared on social networks a photo of the men's toilet door at the Faculté des lettres et sciences humaines of the Université de Neuchâtel. On the door was a small poster masking the male logo and stating that «the toilets had been made gender-free because the male-female sigils displayed on the toilets oppress a section of the university population». The action was instigated by the «UniNE collective for the women's* and feminist strike», which is «calling for a boycott of these stereotyped, medieval codes».
