Yesterday's career
«The »sentier des Meulières", north of the Minervois vineyards in the Hérault region. Here, in this region of drought and garrigue, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, men broke the sandstone limestone rock to carve millstones for mills throughout the region. All that remains of the Saint-Julien-des-Meulières quarry is a labyrinth of pebbles strewn with massive, abandoned millstones.
