Following our meeting with Laetitia Dosch about the revival of her show Hate, we wanted to find out more about Corazón (the horse in Hate), and the person who runs the place where he spent his life and was raised. So, on Wednesday June 19, your editor returned to Gimel to meet Judith Zagury, co-founder of the Shanju workshop-school. An actress and playwright, Judith kindly agreed to meet us over tea to answer our questions.

Announced as the first major event of this theatrical season at Vidy, the European Philosophical Song Contest by Lausanne artists Massimo Furlan and Claire de Ribaupierre aims to put philosophy to music on the stage and thus stimulate critical thinking. From August 29 to September 15, the forty-third edition of Geneva's La Bâtie festival will take place. It's an opportunity for the event to «mark the occasion» and showcase some of the biggest names on the scene, as well as offering a diverse program of dance, theater and music.

On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at the «Shanju» workshop-school based in Gimel, in the middle of nature, we meet Laetitia Dosch, Franco-Swiss actress and director. A charming and welcoming person, she generously gave us some of her time to talk about the revival of her show Hate. It's a duet with a horse named Corazón, performed in 2018 at the Théâtre de Vidy, and revived from August 29 to September 1 in Gimel, to launch the new theater season.
On Monday May 20, the Théâtre de Vidy presented the first part of its new 2019-2020 season. The last season before the theater's renovation, it promises to be rich in quality artists and committed performances.
At the Théâtre de Vidy, death occupies the stage in Forever, a performance combining dance and music that reveals our relationship to the finitude of our existence, as well as to the possibility of eternal life.
With «Jimmy The Kid», Eric Jeanmonod presents the world of crime from a funny, funky angle. With a staging rich in movement and caricature, the director offers audiences a hilarious show that appeals to young and old alike.
