Le Regard Libre: You and Jean-Baptiste Noé have chosen the form of a scientific study for your book. Why did you take this direction rather than that of a philosophical essay?Jean-David Ponci: Jean-Baptiste and I wanted to lift a taboo and start asking ourselves seriously and freely the question of co-education and non-mixed education in schools. When you read the book, you'll immediately understand that we have no desire to extol the virtues of single-sex schools, but rather, for example, to propose the separation of boys and girls for certain classes only, or for certain age groups only.
