A lawyer since 1971, he has defended major international figures such as Her Majesty Empress Farah of Iran. From President of the Geneva Bar Association to President of the Concours d'art oratoire, his mandates remain numerous. These even travel back in time: the man of law enjoyed pleading for Baudelaire in the «Fleurs du mal» trial. His passion for the spoken word has also earned him a number of awards, including Officier dans l'Ordre de la Légion d'honneur, the Prix du rayonnement français and the title of Best Living French Speaker. But what is this love affair that links him to the French language? Marc Bonnant, a lover of life and language, gives us the answer in a deep and moving interview.
